Traded to the Phillies;)

For the fall we told Walker he could choose
between fall baseball or flag football.
We could have given him the choice
of tackle football, but sistah puh-leeeeze!
He said flag football would be taking
a step backwards since several of his
friends were moving onto tackle;)
We were THRILLED with his choice
of FALL BALL after our fun season
on the Texas Rangers!!!
We were even more excited when we got the call
that Coach Miller had picked him up again!!!
The only drawback was that we were no longer
the Rangers...but rather the Phillies.
We actually were relieved since it wasn't
the Yankees...BUT Walker still cried
when we told him that we would have to be
the Phillies!!!  Literally put his head in
his pillow and CRIED.
That boy has some passion!;)
I about fell over though when he and his bud
Kullen both showed up at the first
practice in their full Ranger uniforms!!!
Not giving up easily:)))
Grayson, Kullen and Walker...
excited to be back together for another season of baseball!
They are all crazy over Hudson...
it's like he's the team mascot;)
One night after practice we hung out and visited
with the Millers.  Hudson was SO excited
to be out on the field with the big boys............
So they started running the bases with him!!!
I took these with my iPhone and it was getting
dark, but oh my Goodness...
that kid was having a BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ready for the first game on September 20th...
I think he makes such a cute Phillie;)
This is basically how Hudson
hangs around at the games;)
We won our first game 8 to 2!
Walker had two awesome hits........
love seeing him out there on the field:)
He is mostly playing second...
but sometimes third and/or outfield.
When Hudson isn't trying to sneak into
the dug out or steal baseballs from
the bucket IN the dug-out,
then he is eating Starburst
or M&M's and flirting with his
new girlfriend;)
The Phillies have a REALLy HOT
assistant coach.  I usually invite
him home with us;)))
Troy was so proud one night when
another coach said,
"You've raised yourself a hitter!"
I think that is music to a daddy's ears;)))
We won our second game, too...
Walker had an AWESOME triple that game.
I think he could have gone on home!  ha!
Team mascot;)
I don't get as nervous for him this year...
maybe because it's fall ball or maybe
he's just more comfortable at the plate.
I love watching him play baseball
because he loves it so much!
Nice swing, buddy!!!
Both Hudson AND Hadlee
have fun at the games! :)
See what I mean about the little stink;)
Little sisters and little brothers!!!
Will's sister, Olivia;  Kullen's brother, Kannon;
Grayson's brother, Grant
Our turn for snacks...we went healthy;)
Did I happen to mention how cute
I think Walker is batting?!?
A triple:)
Here is Hudson's adorable new girlfriend...
her name is Haleigh (Colton's little sister).
She and Hudson are both messes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hudson is constantly sticking his arm
through that fence to try to get a baseball;)
Like Walker, it wasn't easy for Garrett,
but he is cheering the Phillies on!!!  ha!
I always know where to look for Hudson.
This is in the middle of the game and look
at the boys giving him attention!!!
It has been really fun to be together with
some of the same teammates, but we are
missing some important ones;(
Thankfully, we have also made new friends!!!
Coach Miller and Coach Pierce
are great coaches!!!
Grandmother loving #4 on the Phillies:)
This is a precious picture...
Cannon and Cade Carr are brothers.
Cannon is in Hadlee's kindergarten class
and Cade is in Walker's third grade class!
We are LOVING getting
 to know the Carrs better:)
Add in Hudson AND Kyle
(another friend from school)
Buddies in the third grade at South Bosque:)))
This is pretty typical after a game.
Literally that night Walker also asked me to
carry his bat bag.  I'm not joking!!!
Haleigh & Hudson
Walker even got to pitch one game!!!
He did GREAT:)
No matter what...
he will ALWAYS be mommy's stud muffin!
Look at my baby pitch!!!
Nine years old...
That's Jonah playing first base
and Walker on first:)
Coach Miller asked after this game for the
boys to raise their hand if they got a
good hit!  I love how they ALL raised their hands;)
We celebrated Coach Miller's birthday that
night with cupcakes and singing to him...
I love me some baseball season!
I love me EVEN MORE some
Coach Pierce and some Walker Pierce :)
