TOGA

How I missed posting these pics in May,
I just don't know!
(I tend to do lots of posts in one night and save them...
I found some posts from March that I never published!)
We always have TOGA day after we finish
reading Julius Caesar! I don't know how I get so lucky,
but I always seem to have the BEST students
at my part time teaching gig!
My three little classes were
NO exception this year;
in fact, I think this was the sweetest group
of students I've ever had.
They were a true pleasure and I'm going
to miss them next year!
My teaching partner is super special, too!!!

Garden Fresh

The other day Mamaw and PaPa Jimmy
invited the kids over to pick some
vegetables from their garden.
The kids LOVED this!
(I loved the delicious dinner we also had!).
PaPa Jimmy is so sweet & patient with
Walker & Hadlee.
He's a great father-in-law!
And the best cook to boot!!!
Striking a pose in the garden...
that's my Diva!!! This was so fun for the kids.
Thank you, Mamaw & PaPa Jimmy!

Now if I could just get these cute little farmers to eat their veggies!!!

Walker Boy...
Thank you for being so good to your mommy!
You are so understanding of me not feeling

I don't know what I did to get such a
sweet, fun boy like YOU!!!
The Little Boy Love of my Life!

I love you so, so much!!!

Baby Daddy & Ten Weeks

Today marks 10 weeks for our little Baby Love!
We heard a sweet little heart beat this
morning. Beating about 160 beats per minute.
Girl or Boy?!?
What do you think?
(This will have to suffice for my 10 week picture...
my photographer who is six isn't very patient!!!)
I just have to share a lil' something...
T-dawg might get onto me for this one though!
Troy realized early this morning that he
had a big meeting with the top dog of his
company and several men out of the country
at the EXACT time of our appointment.
I assured him that it was just fine for
him to miss because it was one of those
quickie appointments. I could tell
he was so bothered by this. He never missed
any appointments during Walker
and Hadlee's pregnancies.

Sure enough Troy changed the meeting
time and worked it all out so he could come
and hear his baby's heart beat.

As we were walking out to our cars,
I said "Thanks for coming."
His response...
"Thanks for having my baby."

AHHHHHH...I love my Baby Daddy
and my sweet little Baby Love.

(I just read somebody using 'baby daddy'
as an expression and thought it so cute!)

Haddie's Dance Camp

Everyday last week, Haddie Girl
went to DANCE CAMP!!!
(well, from 9:30 to 11:00)
Seriously, this could have been the
cutest thing I've ever watched!!!
Even just the stretches!
Hadlee was the only three year old.
The rest of the cuties were ages 4 to 6.The first day Haddie went right out
and really learned the routine.
She also learned how to play musical
chairs and duck duck goose! That night when Daddy got home,
she got out her very own pom poms
(that Aunt Michelle got her!)
and had to perform the routine for Daddy!!!This was Day 2...she learned some kind
of jump or leap...had a fancy name?!?
I was thinking FAME, I'm going to live forever.
I could just eat her and her cute little
figure up!!!Each day she would tell the teacher
how "tiiiiired" she was and that
she needed a "bake" (a break!).
Nothing short of dramatic, I tell ya!!!Overall, though, she really tried to
learn and kept up quite well!!!The last day Daddy came to watch
the grand finale ~
a dance to the Little Mermaid song.
This is a picture of THE proudest Daddy
in the WORLD watching his little princess dance!Mrs. Emily is in the middle on the top row.
She went to school with my sister &
she was Macy's dance teacher for 10 years! Pure L.O.V.E.

I just love having this little Princess part of my world.

Her Prince is pretty cute, too!

Happy Father's Day

I am so blessed to have such amazing
men in my life. Troy's grandfather, my Uncle Ron,
and most of all..................
my own dad and my own hubby!!!
My dad is just my dad!
He's one of a kind...funny, sweet, set in his ways,
stubborn, silly and boy oh boy
does he LOOOOVE me. Like no other!
And I LOOOOOOOVE him, too!!!
Last night my parents treated Troy (and us!)
to dinner at one of our favorite spots.
Thanks Mom & Dad!!!
We were really wanting to treat them,
but they insisted!
(I think they want to keep their yard man...aka Troy!).
Hadlee picked out her Daddy a Dora card
the other day. When we got home, I was resting
and she came to me with the card that she had
taken out of the bag by herself and written
on by herself. This was Wednesday. She didn't
put that card down until Troy came home
from work that night. She couldn't wait!!!
Being a parent with Troy has
made me love him that much
more and then some.
I love how protective he is of his children
and how very, very much he loves them.
There is no hiding his love for them or for me...
and that makes me so thankful.

I think it's pretty obvious that
Walker and Hadlee love their daddy, too!
How fun that there will be another
one next year at this time giving
his or her daddy some sweet lovin' like this...
Happy Father's Day to all the
wonderful Dads out there!!!

Especially to the ones in my life!

Walker's Awesome Week at VBS

The third row in my car
looked like this on Monday morning...
with still one more little guy to pick up!!!
Walker had an AMAZING week at VBS!
There were almost 900 kids involved with 375
volunteers. AMAZING people, AMAZING church.
So we had to discuss that the cross he made
at VBS wasn't a weapon as you will
notice he is using it in the picture below!
Walker informed me that God is really powerful
so the cross is like a weapon. Excellent point!
The week also involved LOTS of fun play times with his buddies...including a sleep over!Thursday night was an AWESOME concert by the GO FISH guys. Have you heard of them? Awesome Christian music for kids. SO.MUCH.FUN. Haddie (and Daddy!) loved it!!!Walker and his buddy were pretty cool throughout the show...especially with the crazy head gear that Walker created with his laser light.I love these two guys so much...daddy & son who are the best of friends.
Such a fun concert!!!

I love my little superstar!

VBS is such a special time in a little person's life. I am so thankful that Walker was able to experience this again. I was in third grade at Vacation Bible School when I accepted Christ into my heart and then was baptized soon after that. One of my dearest friends is a 64 year old man and the other day he recounted to me his fond memories many, many years ago at his VBS. You just never forget days like that.

Our church makes this week a HUGE and AMAZING week. I am so thankful for the wonderful people there and for all that Walker is learning!

"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
