Sweet July Summer Days

'Tis true that time flies when you are
having fun.  Our summer has flown by!!!
Bryson invited a few guys to Hawaiian Falls
to celebrate his birthday.  They had a blast...
Kyle, Bryson, Zach, Walker, Peyton
Hadlee had been wanting to go to
the new water park, too, so we took
advantage and made it a little date for us:)
Grandmother & PaPa kept Huds!
It was such a precious afternoon.  I
was SO happy to give Hadlee ALLLLL
of my attention!  I told her that I would
just follow her and we'd do whatever
she wanted!  She refused to do any slides
but we had a blast in the kiddie area,
the wave pool and on the lazy river.
Just being B/F/F's.
OF COURSE, she had to have a
hot dog though;)
This tiny thing sure does love
her a hot dog!!!!!
With ice cream for dessert! ;)
She is truly a delight!!!!!!!!
She LOVES for us to talk about
being B/F/F's and having to stick
together with all these boys!!!
Her little figure & tan = Perfection
Mommy loves a day with just you, little girl!!!

The next day was Cannon's birthday
party!:) Sweet girl asked me to
straighten her hair for the par-tay!!!!!!!!!!
A beautiful bit of Heaven on earth:)
Oliver, Haddie, Cannon
Hadlee & Shelby
That afternoon Daddy took us to Chuy's...
a storm was rolling in and we chose
to sit outside and enjoy a little bit
cooler breeze.  We had the patio
all to ourselves.........
Daddy & his Princess
The jealous prince;)
Here's my Prince Charming!!!
Hadlee has such a different look
with her hair straight...
so much older!
And still so pretty:)
I love her features so much...
His features, too......
Baby Love's features, too! Of course:)
Aunt Kity & Uncle Ron dropped
by a big bag of clothes from
our cousins in Dallas.  Hadlee was
SO excited to get some of
Lauren's hand-me-downs.
I'm really not one who begs for
hand-me-downs since I love
to shop & bargain shop....
but we love us some
Merritt Hand-Me-Downs!!!!!!!!
My favorite:)
Haddie Girl couldn't wait to put
together her own outfits
with Lauren's stuff...
Silly girl:)

We forgot about Lil' Bro during our
fashion show.  He had found Hadlee's
caboodle and was going to town
with some make-up!!!! ;)
An early morning snake hunt...
Hadlee is OBSESSED with the
weather.  She is constantly checking it on
my phone and watching the weather
station on TV.  She even talks like
a meterologist.  We will be making plans
to go somewhere and she'll say something
like, "It's going to be partly cloudly
on Tuesday."  ha!
Poor Thing is PETRIFIED of rain
and thunder and lightning.
She was being so brave going out
in a light rain in her new raincoat!!!:)
Tackle those fears, Girlfriend!!!  ;)
Sweet Thing still loves her Barbies...
These two are her favorites because
they are the "Hadlee" Barbie Doll
& the "Troy" doll from High School Musical.
Uncle G (Garrett) came over to
eat with us one night and to
watch the All Star Baseball game...
He has become such a good friend to
Troy and me.  He's like family to us all:)
Back to the Troy & Hadlee dolls...
One morning we were playing Barbies
(which I love to hear what hers say
to each other...like "I'll text you later")
and she told me her "Hadlee" doll
was going to the school dance.  I asked
who is Hadlee's date?  She grabbed
her "Troy" doll and told me,
"She is going with her Daddy!"
Maybe Troy will get his wish
and she will take him to the prom???

Summer date night with my leading man!
Silly Sistah:)

Crazy Broham;)

I have a very unique friendship with
my former 7th grade English teacher.
He's the most eccentric, sweetest,
funniest man you could ever know.
I now consider him one of my
dearest friends.  For the past
several years, we have e-mailed
each other on a daily basis.
I write him at night and I wake
up to a morning e-mail from him.
He's delightful!
He asked the kids and I to come
by to see him and his mother...
Mr. V has an extensive Indian
collection and he wanted to give
Walker something from his collection.
He gave him a 'coup staff'....
which is a weapon that Indians
used.  Walker is SO PROUD of this!!!
Mr. V is a pretty famous figure from
Midway.  We just love him dearly!
Walker is really hoping to get to
do an Indian project in 4th grade
so he can take his "coup staff"!!!

Cattle Baron's Barge Party!

Summer is so fun...
I have so much to be thankful for
during the summer & all the year through!
Summer makes for sweet dreams, too:)
