Haddie's Lost Tooth (Teeth!)

Sweet Girl lost one of her top
front teeth while on our trip
(when she bit into an ice cream
sandwich by the pool and then
cried and cried wanting her
tooth BACK;( !!!!)
The day we got back from
vacay, she asked me to take
this picture for Mrs. Janice:)
She chose for the tooth fairy to NOT
come to our hotel room.  She
really wanted to keep her tooth
this time and wanted to write
the tooth fairy a note and
make her a picture! ;)
This little girl is something else.
Some kind of special, I tell ya!  :)
Six years old...I think this was
her third tooth to lose.
She took this pic of herself
to send to Uncle G (Garrett)
to show off her missing tooth!  ;)
Gotta love her!!!  After sooooo many
tears over not having the tooth anymore,
she is certainly proud now!  ;)

I knew that there were two more
loose teeth in her mouth, but I
kinda forgot about it.  One day we ran
errands all day with my mother
and visited with Travis.  All day long,
Hadlee seemed so sad and tired:(
When she sat down at the table
to eat her dinner, she burst into
tears after one bite.  One of her
bottom teeth was barely
hanging on!!!  Poor thing
gets sooooo anxious over
things like this.  She could hardly
stand the thought of how or
when it was going to come out.
She wouldn't even fathom the
thought of pulling it out!
She and I stopped a few times just
to pray together over her anxiety
about losing her tooth.
Troy & I loved on her all night
long.  We were laying in my bed
reading books, when all of the
sudden she said, "It's about
to come out!"  I grabbed a kleenex
and gently pulled her sweet
little bottom tooth out!
THEN, she wanted me to make
her some dinner all over again
at 9pm (which I did of course!).

Again, Hadlee didn't want the
tooth fairy to keep her tooth
so she wrote another note
and made her a picture:)
Silly, sweet girl with two missing
teeth just in time to start first grade:)
“Do not be anxious about anything,
but in everything, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your
requests to God.
And the peace of God,
which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and
your minds in Christ Jesus”
Philippians 4:6-7

Bless her sweet heart! Our oldest son, Billy, was the same way about his loose teeth. He also lost his first one while biting into an ice cream bar! LOL

Bo didn't like for his teeth to be pulled, either, but it didn't seem to be so traumatic for him.

Does Hadlee have a special place where she's keeping her teeth? She needs a little tooth box! ;-)

Hugs...
