A Thankful Toddler Mommy, Too!!!

I just couldn't only blog about how thankful I am
to be mommy to my kindergartener!
Goodness Gracious, I L-O-V-E being mommy to
this Sweetie Pie Punkin' who happens to be two...
Mrs. Heather had a tee pee for her backyard!
She also had the girls make headbands...
Can you tell that Mrs. Heather's is the bomb.com (stole that
from Mo Joy!). It's the truth...Heather is HEAVEN sent!!!
Little Native American B/F/F's...
And then came Mrs. Heather's annual
Thanksgiving Feast yesterday...

I told Heather today that when I count my blessings, she is at the very top of the list! Hadlee just adores Heather and this makes me SO happy & thankful! I think my Little Miss has more fun in the mornings with them than she does with me!!!How cute are Lucy & Hadlee...I am thankful Hadlee is learning what it's like to have a little friend of her own and I LOVE how they have so much fun together!Melt your punkin' pie sweet...

This year my favorite Hadlee fall craft is this
adorable turkey with Haddie Girl's little hands!!!
(Did I mention how amazing Heather is?!?)
Haddie was so proud to use the glue on her own...

For the longest time, Hadlee was not the least bit interested in reading books (so different from her Bubba). All of the sudden, though, this is one of Hadlee's favorite things to do! Of course I love to read to her!!! Walker has taught Haddie to read "No David"...it is too cute & funny for words. I actually caught it on video tonight and as soon as I figure out the video on a blog thing, I'll post it!If I could bottle up the way Hadlee looks at me when she has made me something, I would be the richest person in the world!!! It is absolutely priceless. I truly try to cherish her sweet little face every single time she does it. Her look of pride & excitement is sometimes just overwhelming (FOR US BOTH!!!).
This morning's excitement was no different when she handed me these...

I had the best idea for Hadlee to hold her pictures so
I could capture her with them. Well, Missy Prissy had
other plans. First she chose THIS pose...Then this one (but hey, the artwork was now in her hands!)...
But not for long...

Can't outsmart this mommy though! I was on a mission...Low and behold, but who should we find just relaxing in his Native American costume (from the kindergarten party today ~ another post already brewing from that!)...One mere, slight suggestion from BUBBA for Haddie to wear HIS costume...PRESTO! She does it without a single thought!!!

She even poses!
Then Bubba suggests she act like an indian, too...NO problem!!! This little girl is truly something else!!! I just take her in every single day and I thank God for her perfect combination of sweetness and spunk! Often times when I hold her, she'll just pat my back...so loving and sweet. The little thing can't wait to get into bed at night just so we can say the prayer. "Mommy...pre pre pre!" And before I can even get the first words of the prayer out, she's sounding off names (always CoCo and Kate Kate first!) and she never forgets to say prayers for the bad boys (where she got that I have no idea!).

As I've said since the first moment I held her, she's like a little bit of Heaven on Earth!

I truly couldn't be more thankful for my little girl!!!I am one THANKFUL Mommy!!!

(Can you tell?!?)

What a cutie pie! I can see the twinkle of a little mischief in her eyes, too. :o) She's just precious. Of course you are proud of her!

Thank you for your concern for my hubby, Bill. He was supposed to have an MRI this morning at 8:30 a.m., but they are having problems with their machine. Hopefully, they will get it fixed and he can have the test later today. Otherwise, it will be Monday. I truly appreciate your prayers for him!

Have a blessed Thanksgiving...
