Walker's Last Game & Party!!!

This was a great season on the Rangers...
very different ~ but awesome!

The three lone 11 year olds on this team:)
Matthew, Peyton, Walker
Hunter was one of the 13 year olds...
he was so cool to my boy!
Walker played out field all season...
He held his own and did awesome!!!
He had several great hits and did well
in the field.  He had only one error all season.
Spider-Man was quite the hit in the
stands!  Everyone fell in love with him:)
He always showed up at the games in
a normal shirt and would anxiously wait
until someone asked him if he had on
his Spidey shirt.  The top shirt would
immediately come off!!!
Huds also made best friends with the McNiels,
a sweet couple who run the concession stands.
He would go and stand up on a stool
and talk to the two of them during the games.
So cute.  Come to find out they
go to our church.  It's been fun
making these neat new friends:)
My favorite H's...
Always fun to have our Haley Girl:)
I love how we make new friends during
baseball season.  This year was absolutely
no different.  We especially came to
love Justin's fam...I kinda knew his
parents, but really bonded with them
over the season including his
AMAZING grandparents!!!
They fell hook line and sinker
for our little Huds!
At the last game Big Daddy
brought Hudson this Spider-Man
Frisbee!  So sweet!!!
We miss them already.
A gift from Grandmother and PaPa
at the last game...
This crazy gang ended up in
3rd place for the season!
We had a team party at
Marco's after the last game...
Coach Howton talked about each
player and gave them a certificate.
When he talked about Walker,
he mentioned how he didn't know
any of the 11 year olds at the draft but
that Walker was recommended by the
other coaches because of his batting.
Dr. Howton now agrees:)
He also talked about how Walker
always had a great attitude and a smile.
Good times:)
It was really cool how the coach
talked about each player.
Spidey CraSHeD!!!!!!!!!!
The other coaches spoke and
Coach Howton even had gift cards
for the assistant coaches like Coach Pierce.
So nice:)
Pey was entertaining me;)
Team Hug!!!!!!!!!!
These guys really did come to love each other:)
Then they broke out and did the "nene" dance;)
Walker & Pey with my fave older boys...
Justin, Hunter & Alex
Even Hadlee made a precious new friend...
Jada, Alex's little sister:)
AND Whitney, Justin's little sister!
Garrett tagged along with us that
night even though we had just played his team
(and won!)...his parents were out of town.
Love these guys...
Alex was Walker's biggest fan on the team!
He really pumped Walker up all the time:)
He's become a great new friend.
Same with Hunter!  Soon I'll have these
boys at MHS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Selfishly one of my favorite parts of the
season was getting to know Maria better.
I knew we were always destined to be friends:)
Maria is so sweet and beautiful!
We laughed all season because people
would confuse us.  One time a friend
of ours walked up behind her and
said, "Hey Trendy Mindy!"
And I was called by her name on
more than one occasion.
I told her THAT was the best
part of the season for me!!!!!!!!!;)
Such a compliment!!!
Maria is already a wonderful friend.
 Walker opened his present
from Grandmother...an awesome
Under Armour Superman shirt!!!
We are just so proud of our boy this season!
Walker worked VERY hard with his
team and on his own.  This kid loves
him some baseball!!!  He never missed
a game or even a practice (and was
so bummed when practices were
cancelled because of rain...even though
I was sometimes secretly wishing for
a break!).  Walker is reserved in nature
but he has a true drive in him that
I so admire.  Most of all though, I love
the new friendships he made on this team.
This was "big boy" baseball and Walker
stepped up for it!  These guys and families
bonded and we had fun!
Walker has HEART in all that
he does and I am so proud
to be Walker Pierce's blinged out
baseball mama!  His kind heart
and his passion for what he loves
helps drive me, too!!!
He also had a really hot assistant coach;)

Way to Go, Son!!!
So very proud of you:)
