I love a good weekend!

Friday night after Walker's soccer game, we went to his school carnival! I still can't believe that my baby boy is in KINDERGARTEN!

South Bosque Elementary puts on quite a shindig for their carnival. We had a great time and it was so fun hearing different teachers say hello to Walker (by name) and watching Walker get so excited when he saw his new friends! I should have taken more pictures of him with his buddies (I spent half the night volunteering at our class booth...don't get me wrong...I loved it!). Luckily Walker's best girl came in from Austin to attend the carnival...
THAT was a SWEET TREAT!!!

Miss Priss was all about the carnival, too. How could she not be...look at the bucket of treats?!? ALL Starburst! I laughed when a young girl working a booth tried to reward Hadlee with some red and pink ones. I think I heard Haddie say "Oh, no she diiiiiiient!!!"

DIVA!!! She'd only allow pink in her hair...

This is THE WALL...................

You better run, boy!!!...
My favorite couple...
Troy's best girl from Austin was there, too...
Lately I have begun to realize that our lives are busier than ever and this is only the beginning. Sometimes I feel a bit overwhelmed, but it never lasts too long. These are good, good times & I realize that things can change in an instant. I am so thankful for my little man's excitement over new friends, the treasure box at school, climbing the wall in gym class, playing soccer and just enjoying life. I love seeing Hadlee get so excited to follow her Bubba and try to keep up with him in all things! And I'm thrilled that I have a hubby who enjoys going to Walker's school functions and who is willing to coach our son's soccer team. These are things that make me VERY, VERY happy and overwhelmingly THANKFUL.
I love these verses...
"May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face shine upon you. And be gracious to you; May the Lord lift up His favour upon you. And give you His peace."

Numbers 6:34-36
