My sweet angel girl was under the weather
with strep on my birthday.
She was on the up and up though
so we got out a little bit:)
BiRTHDaY LuNCH with her
at CFA was the BeST!!!!!!!!!!!!
Needed to buy some teacher gift
cards so Hadlee knew what that meant!!!
MOM pretending to be a Starbucks GIRL!;)
I just had to see my dad on my
birthday:) Lynna and Michelle
happened to both be there so Dad
got all three of his girls at the same
time on my BiRTHDaY!!!
God love him.
So thankful for him.
Kelli G surprised me with a cake
and the adorable necklace I have on!
My sweet, sweet little family
had surprises for me, too!!!
41 feels fine;)
Troy picked Walker & Jared up from
church and we met at Bush's! LOL!
Then home for gifts!!!
This might have been my favorite part...
Troy went to the store and bought
gift sacks AND what he thought was
tissue paper ~ but it was a table cloth!
ha ha! I laughed so hard!
We laughed SO HARD over this!!!
And of course I posed for pics;)
I am ALWAYS always ALWAYS cold...
I finally got a WARM ONESIE!!!
Plus some perfume and
some HUNTER RAIN BOOTS!!!
Troy didn't know about the ONESIE...
I had wrapped that up from the kiddos.
Because I'm funny like that.
He didn't quite know what
to think! haha!
I was so excited though!!!!
Happy 41st to Mama!
Earlier that day when Hadlee & I were
at the mall, I had bought a wedding gift.
Hadlee saw me looking at this...
I LOVE THIS QUOTE and always have.
She asked me for some money
and wanted to go check out by
herself at Dillard's.
Birthday made by my sweet girl:)
That weekend my little family took me
to eat. We held off on a BiG b-day
celebration. Taking the year off
from those since my dad can't be there:(
I couldn't be more thankful
for my FaVoRiTE FouR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then they surprised me with THIS!!!!!
41 is FUN!
My sweet teacher friends had given
me a generous Target gift card for my
birthday. The first thing I used it for
was when I saw that Target finally
had PIE IN THE FACE in stock!!!:)
It made for the perfect b-day celebration!!!
Sharing Jesus, loving my family & friends,
and helping others are my goals
for my 41st year on this earth.
Thank you, Lord...
especially for my three
So many things I thought would bring me happiness
Some dreams that are realities today
Such an irony the things that mean the most to me
Are the memories that I've made along the way
So if there's anything I've learned from this journey I am on
Simple truths will keep you going, simple love will keep you strong
'Cause there are questions without answers and flames that never die
And heartaches we go through are often blessings in disguise
So thank you, Lord, oh thank you, Lord
how could I ask for more?
