Hadlee's Penguin Project

Precious Pie had to complete her
first "research project"...
hers was over the Rockhopper Penguin!!!
When Walker was in the first grade,
his was the King Penguin so we had
purchased this stuffed King Penguin.
Hadlee and I got creative and turned it
into a Rockhopper Penguin!!!
She had to have a visual and also
a report to read to the class.  Hadlee
kept going back to the computer
and adding more to her report!
She takes her school work very
seriously and she is such a bright
little girl.  I am so proud of her!!!
This was rehearsal the night before...
Rehearsal accidentally broke out
into Gangham Style;)
Sweet Pea chose her outfit on the day it was due...
a shirt Aunt Lynna got her with her
red and white polka dot Toms that
Grandmother got her!
Trendy Haddie and her Loves!!!;)
This would be Walker "helping"
us with the project on the way to school!!!
I secretly had wished that Mrs. G
or Mrs. S would send me a picture
of Haddie doing her report for the class.
Lo and behold, look what text I got from Mrs. G!
I love this picture for many reasons...
most of all because look at my little
studious angel standing up there reading
her report to the class with no fear,
but also for the loving smile I see
on Mrs. Schmeltekopf's face as she
watches Hadlee:)  We are so blessed.
And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God...

Way to go, Hadlee! She's beautiful, intelligent, and sweet...just like her mom! :-)
