22 Weeks!!!

Guess who came with us to Baby Boy Love's
22 week check-up?!?
The Sweetest Big Sister EVER!!!
She is such a little delight and no problem at all
to take somewhere like this.
I must say, we could have NEVER taken
Walker (at age three) with us to the doctor!
He would have been into everything!!!
She and Daddy had fun with Dr. K's chair...
I wish I could have had a picture of
Daddy & Haddie
when we heard the little heart beat.
Their identical smiles were priceless to me!
Everything seems to be going well right
now with the pregnancy. Baby Boy Love
is growing!!! Troy couldn't believe my
tummy when he got back in town this week!

At the appointment,
the heart beat sounded strong.
We love this little guy and we
are praying ever so hard for him!!!
Babies are such a sweet miracle!

This doesn't seem like it could be right
(especially if you've seen me lately!),
but I have really only gained four pounds so far.
This is only because I lost weight in the
beginning. Had I not lost weight,
I think I would be at eleven or so pounds.
My appetite is expanding and I
am finally able to eat so many more things!
I put on 50 pounds with my first two pregnancies,
and I'm sure I'll be there again!!!

Here are my must-eats every single day...

Jelly Beans ~ all colors except for
orange, black & purple!
Cheese ~ slices, sticks, cubes, you name it!
I even have cheese for breakfast!!!

SOUR pickles ~ two a day!
One after lunch, one after dinner. These along with the infamous purple Nexium pills are my heart burn heroes! Isn't that crazy?!?

And my newest addiction and probably why I've grown SO MUCH in the last week...BANANA SPLITS!!! I'm talking one banana, three scoops of vanilla, magic shell chocolate, strawberry & pineapple toppings, and whipped cream!

Oh Baby Boy Love...

We.LOVE.These. Every single Night. OH.my!

And I can't wait to love YOU...Every single Night!

Giddy

I just get giddy thinking about Baby Boy Love!
Somedays I can hardly wait for him to get here.
I wonder if he'll want to be swaddled like
Haddie Girl or sleep like a frog like Walker did
(arms and legs OUT...no swaddle whatsoever!).
Will he be big like Walker or tiny like Hadlee?
Both of my babies have been such
love bugs...wonder if he'll be like that, too?!?
I look at this little profile all the time and
I just get giddy!!!
There is more than enough love for a third baby.
I already know it and he's not even
in my arms yet.

Sweet Baby Boy Love...
Mommy is praying for you every single
day and loving you like no other!

Somebody's been sleeping in my bed...

Papa Bear surprised us by coming home a night
early from his business trip to Georgia.
He had only one thing to say,
"Somebody's been sleeping in my bed
and they're still there!!!"
Like Brother Bear, Like Sister Bear!!!

The kids always sleep with me while
Papa Bear is gone.
Troy found them just like this when he got
home late last night?!?
Mama Bear was so happy to have
Papa Bear home again!

The End.

P.S. ~ Hadlee is obsessed with these size 12 month
Dora Christmas pj's. They are known as the 'Dirty Doras' in our house!

Homework, Bullfrog & Miss Crow

Walker's first homework assignment for
first grade was to answer a
"Stuff About Me" sheet and to fill
a bag with five or so things that
represent his personality...
I loved hearing what the answers
were for his "Stuff"!
He put "5" for the number in his family...
I LOVE that he already includes
his baby brother!!!
Walker chose to put a pink and red
starburst, a snake, a little football, a Bacugan,
and a picture of him and Hadlee in his sack.
Then came time for the PARENT HOMEWORK!!!
We were supposed to describe
in pencil a memory from first grade
and illustrate it with markers or crayons.
I loved my first grade teacher so this was
very easy to write about...and perfect
because it involved Mrs. Gingerich!
Troy told me NOT to put this on my blog,
but I can't resist!!! He did this all on his own
and I just think it is the cutest thing EVER!!!

I LOVE BULLFROG!

Prayers for Baby Walker

Hi friends...
I am at a loss for words right now,
but I am not at a loss for prayers.
I hope you will join me in praying for
a very precious little Walker,
other than my own.

This is the son of a sweet friend/sorority
sister from college. Her precious six month
old son, Walker, has just been diagnosed
with a rhabdoid tumor.
This is the most aggressive form of
malignant tumors in children.

Obviously their hearts are broken,
but at the same time their faith and
strength are beyond amazing.

Please visit their site and begin
praying for a miracle in this little
boy's life. They are such a sweet, Godly
family and need every single
prayer they can get.

"GOD IS ABLE TO DO IMMEASURABLY
MORE THAN ALL WE CAN ASK OR IMAGINE!!!!!!!!!"

Ephesians 3:20

Thank you so, so much!

The Homecoming that Didn't Happen

We were down set hut and ready to attend
our school's Homecoming game last night!!!
But last minute we decided against it
because of the rain that kept on falling outside.

My Mr. & Miss MHS were ready though!!!!!
Haddie Girl was ALL ABOUT cheering
and dancing in her Midway outfit!
Check out Walker's new jersey!
It is just like the Varsity football team's.
He was so excited to get this!!!Want to know why he chose #80?!?
Check out Daddy's high school football
picture in Walker's room and you'll
have your answer!!! This was his tough football face...
(or perhaps the no more pictures face?!?)
Our cute little cheerleader couldn't
stay away from the camera...
especially Daddy's video camera!!!Mommy's Stud Muffin...The two above weren't the only two acting
wild...a certain little Love Bug was kicking
around in Mommy's tummy!!!Guess he knows someday this will be his
jersey, too! So, I decided to try it on...
this can be my 22 weeks picture!!!Our Homecoming Princess...
her little mum brings back such memories
for me of the mums that I always had
from my Aunt Kitty and Uncle Ron.
Started when I was about three and
lasted until the first boy bought me one
in junior high!!! Such sweet memories!Hadlee is smiling at her Daddy in this picture...
guess that's why her mum says
"Daddy's Little Girl"!!!Well, like I said, we didn't make it to
the game because of the rain.
Instead we stayed home on this rainy
Friday night and made sundays!

Our Homestaying was perfect!

September 11, 2001

Walker and Hadlee...
Since this blog is for you, I would be remiss not
to mention September 11, 2001.
This is a day I want you to know about
and remember just like I always will.

Walker, you were born the year before
this dreadful day in our country's history.
The attack on the USA was horrific.
It was also a day that many, many heroes
were born...we must ALWAYS show
gratitude to the men and women who served
us on September 11th and who serve to protect
our country every single day now.
There were also so many lives lost and
we never, ever want to forget to pray
for those people's families.

On September 11, 2002, just after you and Kate were born, Kelli and I dressed you in your American outfits from our sweet friend Brooke and took your pictures. You were fifteen days old and Kate was six days old. We were especially thankful for our babies and for our country that day. Having the two of you made us appreciate and honor those that protect us that much more.Walker and Hadlee...may you always love the USA! There is no place like it!
