Sick of Being Sick

It has been a VERY rough three
days for my sweet baby girl.
This stomach virus has not been fun AT ALL.
My heart has just been
breaking for Haddie Pattie Pie.
Thank you, Nurse Ro Ro, for checking on her today.
She has still managed a few
smiles & several...
I love you oh so much 's.
She's just that sweet.
Praying for a much happier day tomorrow!
I miss playing Polly Pocket with my best girl.

WAHOOOOOOOOOOO...SPRING BREAK '09

We are off to a WILD start to our
Spring Break 2009!!!

Here are the kids at 4:00 PM on Friday...
the official start of Spring Break!!!

I do see two positives in the pictures...

Hadlee's hot pink jellies
AND Walker's new CARS flip flops
(that sweet Haddie Girl picked out for him).
Jellies and flip flops = Spring Break, right?!?
Also tonight Walker chose a pair of
his "summer pajamas" to sleep in.
He said..........
"Mom, it ~is~ Spring Break."

Daisy Diva

Haddie Girl wore this little bling bling
outfit one day last week.
It was a gift from her Aunt Lynna!!!
Sometimes Hadlee will only answer to
"Daisy"! Seriously! It's funny because
Walker called her Daisy Baby while
she was in my tummy (well, first he
called her Kong King, then Sissy Kong
King...until finally he settled on
Daisy Baby! We ran with THAT one!).
A while back, Troy and Walker
told her about being called
"Daisy" and I guess she likes it!
The day she wore this outfit
she only wanted to be called "Daisy"...
NOT really Daisy "Diva" though so
I hope she doesn't see this post!!!

I couldn't resist posting these happy pics tonight because Sweet Girl has an icky stomach virus right now. It hasn't been a fun day!!!Rhonda, I thought you would like this bling bling outfit on my Haddie. You and my sister would LOVE each other!

Daisy...your mommy sure does love your sweetness and your spunk! Today was an awful day and you barely moved other than to get sick. I pulled out my camera one time to take your pitiful little picture...and you smiled. It might have been your only smile today. What a little dream boat you are to me. I love you and hope tomorrow is so much better!!!

LOVED

Did I mention to you guys how much
I love birthday (weeks!) for my children,
my hubby, my family, my friends...
and myself?!?

I have sweet friends at school
who always remember my birthday
with flowers, cake and gifts...
Boy was I feelin' the FACEBOOK love
on my birthday. My wall has never seen
so much action!
ALL of my friends
are so kind to me on my birthday!!!
The Hoodies each dropped by with a somethin'
somethin'. In fact, this Little Hoodie,
Brady, brought a treat by and
he didn't want to leave!!!
Made my day...
Table for 18 please for my
crrrraaaaaazzzzzy family
at my favorite Mexican food restaurant!Sweet, Special Guests...Do you think it's obvious that
I love this little girl?!?Look at my hubby getting my cake ready!
What a hubby taking care
of his 34 year old wifey!!!
LOTS 'o beautiful & sweet cards...
and you know what THAT means!
Good stuff INSIDE the cards! hee hee!!!
Feeling the L-O-V-E...
HAPPY girl at 34!!!
More special guests...I love my family!!!Having ALL of my loves at my
celebration is the BEST gift of all!!!How sweet it is to be
LOVED by them!!!
How about these beautiful flowers
from my beautiful Aunt Kitty...
There is one thing I can say for sure
about my life...
I have always felt very LOVED!!!
It's such an amazing
blessing and one that I give serious
thanks for on a daily basis.
I am always especially reminded of the
LOVING people in my life
on my birthday.

I specifically remember my first
birthday after I moved ON MY OWN to
Dallas after college. I hadn't made many
close friends yet and
I was ALONE on my birthday.
(When my parents left me after they helped move
me in my apartment, the last words said
were "You know the way to work, the grocery
store and the Galleria. You'll be fine." ha ha!)
I was so sad that I would be alone
on that birthday in Big D.
I picked up my favorite
dish at the time from Johnny
Carino's and went home sulking.
Thank the Good Lord I had not gone
anywhere. I would have never, ever been able
to return all of the birthday calls I received.
I have friends who come
out of the woodworks EVERY YEAR
on my birthday to show me some love.
God is good and one thing
I have never doubted is that I am LOVED...
by HIM, my family, and my friends.
OH, and now my BLOGGING FRIENDS!!!

I just don't know how it is that
I've been blessed with the most amazing,
loving family and friends in the world.
I have had my good times in life
and my bad times...
but one thing I can say
for certain is that through it all,
I've felt LOVED.
I am so glad we have birthdays...
it's the perfect, extra special day
to really show our LOVE!
My prayer is that I show the same amount
of love to MY friends and family on
their birthdays (and everyday) as
I've been shown.
I am one blessed girl at 34!!!
Thanks for the BIRTHDAY Love!

On Your March

Get 2nd GO!!!
That's a famous saying by ME as a little
girl when I'd get on one end of the living
room, say those lines, and take off,
You guessed it...
Today is my BIRTHDAY!!!
I have no idea WHY, but my itty bitty family
decided to spoil me rotten the day
BEFORE my b-day.
(Those that know me are laughing outloud...
I'm big on birthday WEEKS!!!)
I fuhhhh-lipped...
money for spring clothes AND a FLIP!!!
Look out blogging world...
I can now easily take videos!!!
Check out the adorable little tri-pod! Love it!!!
Walker chose this book especially for me...
Junie B. Jones Is (Almost) a Flower Girl.
This kid melts my heart.
I love this little Love Muffin, too!
She immediately took the gift bag, filled it
up and made it her purse!!!
La ti da...
I love my new earrings from God Mommy!
Nothing like a little birthday earring
exchange amongst besties!!!Those that really know my super cute
hubby of almost ten years will really
get a kick out of the card he gave me...Honey...thank you for planning this super
special day for me.
You thought of a lot of little details today.
I love you with all of my 34 years.

This card plays "How Sweet it is to be Loved by You"! Troy Boy & I had our first dance to this song. Yes, indeed, it is SUH-WEET to be loved by my T-dawg, Walkman, & Haddie Pattie Pie.

It's pink with flowers and it says MOMMY. My favorite cake EVER!!!

Shortly after we ate the yummy cake, Haddie Girl brought me THIS Polly Pocket to play with. The Grandmother!?!? WOOOOOOOOO nellie! Haddie, your mommy is still so cool at 34. Give me back the brunette in the go-go boots!!!

I leave you with my first FLIP recording. It just happens to be a certain little girl that I adore singing Happy Birthday to Mommy. Turn my blog music off if interested in hearing Haddie Pattie Pie's music video debut featuring back up by a really cute little guy...

What a Difference

...one week can make!
This was Walker last Sunday in L-O-V-E with his best girl, Kate Kate, who had come to see him!
This weekend Walker is SICK! He has a nasty viral infection that has really got my boy DOWN! He was on the couch yesterday more than I've ever seen him before. EVER. In fact, he took three naps. You all know WILD MAN doesn't do that!!! I'm thankful though...can't imagine my child being sick all the time like so many have to endure. I have an end in sight...he's already feeling better this morning. Still, I want my WILD man BACK 100%!!!
(Six year old stats at the doctor's office...58 pounds, 52 inches tall)
