My poor dad doesn't have a clue
in the world anymore but we aren't
going to let that stop us from
celebrating this man we love so very much!!!
My sweet mother brought pizza for the staff
and us and then we had cake and cupcakes.

Detra has been with us since day one.
It is truly mind baffling to think that
exactly one year ago from this day,
we were at George's with our entire family
celebrating my dad. It was in the dreaded
days following his birthday that
his dementia took an absolute turn
for the worse and we were never
able to look back:(
