4th Grade Finale

The much anticipated Fourth Grade Finale

was on May 18, 2013....

Walker rarely likes new things...

I was excited when he asked me to make him

some rice krispy treats!  I had them ready

for him that day after school ;)

 

The show was at the Midway's

Performing Arts Center....

The crazy guys in Mrs. Wellborn's class...

Then the show began!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



Mike, Walker's distant cousin,

sang a solo!!!!!!  WOW!

I loved this............

This act was HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!

Each class had certain "acts"

and then there were individual or group acts...

Walker's Class...

I told Walker it was a bummer that he was put

in the back.  He quickly informed me that

he chose to be in the back!  ha!

He and Cade had a little extra part at the end of

their class performance where they pretended to

run off the wrong side.  It was cute!  ;)

 They hammed it up!!!!!

This was such a cool act!!!!!!

It was several of Walker's good friends.  Awesome!

Walker was asked to be in a group this year

called "Rachel's Challenge".  Mrs. Flowers asked

him and two girls in the group to tell about

the program.  This made us so proud!!!!!!!!



Walker did a great job!!!

It's a program basically about being nice

to everyone and treating everyone the right way.

It was created by the parents of a precious girl

who was killed at Columbine. 

We were so proud that he was chosen

to speak about this and even more

importantly for what the group represents...

He looked so grown-up!!!  :(

Ella Reid and Mary Claire are awesome girls!!!

Walker was in VERY good company :)

and they did AWESOME!!!

I actually took a video of it rather than taking pictures,

but the professional photographer got these.

I love them!!!!!!!!

  At the end it was the entire fourth grade singing again...

The teachers came out at the VERY

end and danced and sang!!!

It was so fun and cute!!!!!!!!!!!
