BASEBALL FEVER!!!

We have had the BEST time playing

Little League Baseball this year!!!

Walker was on the TEXAS RANGERS

sponsored by Raising Cane's!!!

We did not know the coach who picked Walker

up.  When he called to tell us, we were SO

thrilled to hear that Luke Reed was on our

team!!!!  Wahoooooooooooo!

We were soon to realize that we had

GREAT coaches and players

and families!!!  Even the practices

were fun...especially since the

coach had a ball field at his house!:)

This little Ranger wanted to play

some ball all.season.long!!!

March 26th was our first game.

I LOVED seeing this guy in his uniform...

Troy, as always, was an assistant

coach.  I love that he loves to

coach Walker's teams!!!:)

The boys on our team were just precious!

Walker made new friends...ones that I

know he will keep for a long time.

This was Kullen...we've enjoyed playing

with him outside of baseball, too.

He's a great kid!

I still can't believe we got so lucky to

be on the same team with the Reeds!

2011 Texas Rangers

Raising Cane's invited the team for

a pre-game dinner before our first game...

All of the games are at Broughton Fields. 

I grew up going to my sister's games there

and then played there myself. 

This picture is PRICELESS to me...

so reminds me of my own Broughton days!;)

Being called out over the loud speaker

one by one and then taking the Baseball Pledge!

My #10 at bat for the first time........

HE HIT A TRIPLE!!!!!!!!!!!

It was SO awesome...especially for being SO

 nervous and for it being his first at-bat!!!!!:)))))

I took Landry & Haddie to the concession stand

for candy.  They both got hot dogs!  ha!

The Rangers WON their first game!!!!

I was one proud Mama!:)

I thought #10 was the MVP!!!

He had to show me his batting

stance just one more time;)

We had 18 total games and Walker never

missed one or even a practice.  He really

fell in love with the sport!  Now, he's a

huge Ranger fan and loves to watch

them play.  We had so much fun all season!!!

He usually played second base or outfield.

He LOVED when the ball would come to him!

This little couple was just the CUTEST!!!

Melt.My.Heart!

Hudson spent the entire season

trying to work his way into the dug-out;)

I absolutely loved seeing my little man

up to bat!  It is SO nerve-ending...not

because I care if he gets a hit or not

(hey, he looks good and cute to me...

so that's all that matters!;))), but

because Walker puts SO MUCH

pressure on himself.  He and Troy

spent many evenings going up to

the batting cages for extra

practice.  Walker wanted to do well...

every time!!!  We really had to

teach him that it's okay to strike out

and that EVERYONE does!!!

God love him for his competitive nature

and his passion for the things he loves!

Such a great swing!!!

He had a FABULOUS season and I have

lots more to share...including his 

SIX homeruns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grandmother couldn't miss out on seeing

her grandson play at Broughton Field!

She spent many a day there;)

Little Man just wanted to feel included;)

AND get in that DUG-OUT!!!
