Pure Sunshine

Four years old and full of so

much joy and love!!!!!!!!!!!!



He just seems to have fun all the time:)

Mommy was so happy

that he was wearing another shirt

besides his Spider-Man pj top

(although it was underneath AND

he was sporting a Spidey glove)

She just had to turn up his collar to

see what her little blond boy

would look as a little preppy guy;)

I seriously sometimes still

think he might be a little angel:)

God knew we needed this little love!!

My cup runneth over!

 

A Nap, Yeah Right!!! ;)

One Sunday afternoon, I was determined

to have a nap in my bed...all by myself.

Just as I drifted off, this is what I awoke to:

My boy and his drill.

That still has batteries that WORK.

Luckily I laughed:)

How could I resist this little guy?!?

Several years ago, a really good friend

of Troy's gave him his Marine fatigues.

Troy found them recently and

my boys love putting them on!!!

 I'm reading a book about WWI...

I can't even fathom what it's like

for mothers whose sons go off to war:(

Truly heroes...the sons and the moms.

 A very rainy, stormy Monday night...

practice and dance cancelled

and we all end up in my bed watching

Dude Perfect videos!!!  PERFECT:)

 One went down quickly though;)

 

An afternoon with Grandmother...

My first night EVER to watch or know

or care about the NFL Draft!!!



We watched and waited with Johnny!!!  ;)

My little Aggies were just a little pumped!;)

Apparently we are now Cleveland Browns fans;) ha!

Beautiful Day

Walker got this fort for his third birthday.

PaPa Jimmy & Troy put it together

and Mamaw made the "Fort Walker"

sign for it.  It's been a long time

since Walker has been up in it.

Seeing my three loves play together

in it on this gorgeous spring day

made my heart so happy:)

I love our home and all the

memories we have in it and around it. 

 

Every Night...

Every night my little Hudson

lays out his clothes...

and it's pretty much always the same

thing.  He watches cartoons on the

couch in the morning and drinks his

milk so that's where he lays his clothes.

He is something else!!!

I love his quirky little ways:)

 

The hat, the pj top, the nike pants,

the tall socks, the hi-tops. 

Walker's Interview Project

 Walker had a project for Social Studies

in which he had to interview someone

who witnessed something in history. 

He interviewed my mother about

the Waco Tornado in 1953. 

(They did the interview while I wasn't

there and when I came back, my mother

handed me Walker's questions and SHE

had written her answers down for him!

Little stinker asked her to do that

and she did!!!!!!!!!!!)

Another funny story...after Walker

typed it out, he told me it was really long.

When I came to the computer to proof

it, I had to explain to him that using

a font size of 26 will do that to a paper!!!)

 I've always loved my mother's story

about the day the tornado hit...

 Mrs. Williams sent me this picture

of Walker reading his interview

to the class which was an optional

part of the project.  She put

a picture on the screen that we included

of the feed store that was destroyed.

Mother's Day

Hudson wrote his name for Mrs. Janice's card!!!

(with minimal help from mommy!)

 

 Mrs. Janice mothers my baby boy 

every day and I couldn't be more

thankful for her.  She is truly the BEST.

  

Hudson had flowers for me, too!  And they 

were in such a special pot! Beautiful!!!

baseball player after his Saturday game:)

This is the handsome boy who

made me a mom first!!!!!

 Teaching Sunday School was special

on Mother's Day because I got to help

them create a special treat for their moms!

I loved this!!!

They are all so precious and sweet!

I especially love these two and loved

helping them make something for 

one of my favorite moms in the world!!!

But this little one?

Well, he has totally and completely

stolen my heart. 

Hudson has been back on a 

"I'm going to maweee mommy" kick

...especially on Mother's Day.  

I asked him when? and he said Saturday 

and that we are going to invite 

Grandmother, Mamaw and Haddie.  

And we are gonna dance!"

When we left my mom's that afternoon, 

he told her I'll see you Saturday for our date;)

I am sooooo undeserving to be these

sweet babies' mother!!!!!!

My Girl Love......

I had some entertainment

for the kids that morning!  ;)

He juggles!!!

The Good Lord has blessed me 

beyond measure.  I love my role

as mother to these three more than 

ANYthing in this world. 

The kids chose Sonic;) for lunch since

we didn't want to fight any crowds 

on Mother's Day.  Then we visited 

Mamaw and Grandmother.

Troy and I have the best moms in the world.

My Mother.

There just aren't words.

She's everything a mother should be.

For dinner?

Mazzio's!!!  ;)

Kids chose again...how fitting for Mother's Day!

I wouldn't have it any other way though.

Well, probably not.  Mazzio's might not 

have been my first choice;)

A golf card ride with these two soldiers

was the perfect ending...

And with my duck face girl!

Daddy was doing some crazy golf cart driving!:)

So the hubs spoiled me as usual on Mother's Day.

Some spray tans (yay!!!) AND he totally pulled one on 

me by getting me some earrings I've been wanting.

I never even mentioned these to Troy but 

the sweetest little birdies told him (Mrs. Janice

and Adrienne!).  It's so funny because Friday night

we were out to dinner with some friends and 

Troy heard me telling the wife that I wanted

some Kendra Scott earrings.  Troy texted her

at the table that he had already ordered me some!!!

IMPReSSiVE, Big Man!

He was so proud that he had surprised

me...as he should have been!!!

I love love love them!!!:)

He picked the color and everything.

GREAT job, Honey!!!!!!!!!!

I love my Mother's Day treasures from church.

Walker made me the little fabric cloth

in his Sunday School with JoY written on it:)

Hadlee made me this at school...

AND a purse with treasures inside...

I love her precious answers so much!!!

I like that I am as tall as a "medium tree"!

What I really like about Hadlee is "EVERYTHING", too!!!

This day is all about my three little loves 

and my own sweet and amazing mother.

My heart is so full!!!

A day like this also makes me pray

for so many whom I know are missing

their moms, wishing to be a mom,

or missing a child.
