Savoring...

...my two oldest boys!
Yes, Walker likes to dress Hadlee up
in his stuff sometimes. She loves it, too.
When she's dressed like this, she
only goes by the name "H. Walker"...
...my Diva!!!
Absolutely the sweetest little
Diva in the whole wide world!!!
...a wonderful future big sister!!!
I hope she loves her baby brother as much
as she loves this infant seat!

...a crazy camo lovin, new basketball high top wearin, iTouch sportin kid!!!

...a sweet pink camo wearin, high heel lovin sweet pea!

...a spunky little girl who loves to wear her Dorothy shoes!!!

...a handsome hubby who loves his children just as much as I do.

...two fun-loving children entertaining us on a Friday night!!!

My words for 2010 are rejoice, celebrate, serenity, complete and most of all...SAVOR!

Winding Down...

I totally assumed that our Christmas holidays
would be CRAZY with getting ready for
Baby Love and all that goes along with that.
My sweet hubby totally lived up to his promise
and had the nursery painted and ready for
me to decorate long before the holidays.
My friends and family have treated us
with things we needed for Baby Love's arrival
and there just hasn't been any stress on me!
I am SO, SO thankful!!!
Bless my hubby's heart...it's been a
different story for him with the
construction going on!

Last Tuesday, we took the kids with us
for my 37 week appointment...
I guess knowing 100% that this is my last
baby to carry, I have truly cherished each
moment and each kick and each smile
from Walker and Hadlee in regards to
this pregnancy. Well, to be honest...
there was no cherishing going on during
those first 22 weeks or so but the last
half has been WONDERFUL!
I've even caught myself telling people
how I feel like I could do it all over again.
My, how us mommies forget!
Even though I love him, I have always called my
doctor, Dr. Strong Arm. During my first
two pregnancies, I never even came
close to dilating on my own. So far it appears to
be the same thing this go round;
therefore, these checks are terribly, awfully painful!!!
All that to say, at 37 weeks
I haven't dilated which is fine by me.
I'm hoping for a fully cooked Baby Love,
although we'll take him anytime He is ready!!!
(Update...now at 38 weeks and
maybe dilated to a one!!!)

Experiencing this pregnacy with Walker and Hadlee has absolutely been the sweetest! They have been just the cutest little things in regards to their baby brother. When I lie down with Hadlee at night, she always rests her hand on my belly. And she loves to ask me what the baby is doing. Hadlee is so into her baby dolls and I am praying that will carry on over to the REAL baby!!! You can't help but worry yourself sick over how your other babies will adjust, ya know? This little angel is my shadow and I hope and pray she does okay! She is something else. Look at her 'going to HEB to get some groceries...'

while sporting her high heels & side ponytail...

...and stopping to change her baby's diaper!!!Then there's my Walker D!
Oh, that boy...there will never, ever be another
Walker D. Pierce!
First of all, we learned at my doctor's office
that he now weighs 66 pounds! He's so tall
and big and handsome and sweet and quirky.
I couldn't love him more!!!
He has loved his sister and has been the
best big brother a little girl could ever dream
of having (other than the occasional moments!).
He really never even missed a beat when she
arrived in our lives. He was so glad to have her.
I pray that this is the case again with
Baby Brother...but oh how I worry!
He has become so self-sufficient and I
don't dare want to take advantage of that
when I have another baby to care for.
Just the other day I came home from the
store to find this on the kitchen cabinet...
Walker had cleaned out his underwear drawer
and left these for the baby!!!We have truly just enjoyed our holidays.
The kids have either been the best of
friends or the worst of enemies! Oh yes,
they can fight it out with the best of them!
More than anything, they have played very well
together and had a ball with their new toys.
Co Co gave Walker this Star Wars
science volcano lab for Christmas.
Like his daddy, he loves him some science! We've enjoyed doing things like this, making
lots of messes and playing games galore!Probably my favorite part of our holidays
has been the mornings. Troy has been off
of work and each morning at different times,
Walker & Hadlee will crawl in bed with us.
It has usually been in the 7:30 am range.
Each just crawls into the middle of us
without making a peep to bother us.
I love their little personalities because
when it's Walker, you'll hear his iTouch
turn on and he'll start playing his games
(with his head phones on).
Sweet Pea ALWAYS gets out of bed
and gathers the very same 'friends'...
pink puppy, Hello Kitty, pink bear,
and her heart puppy.
All of them crawl into bed with us and she'll
choose either Daddy or Mommy
to snuggle up to.
Not long after a little bit of snuggling,
you'll hear her say,
"Would somebody rub my back?"
You just have to do it...
how could you tell her no!
I have secretly treasured these morning
moments even if I lie there and act like I'm
still asleep. I know all too well that
Baby Boy Love most likely won't
wake quite as sweetly as these two do now!
I've also thoroughly appreciated T-Daddy
letting me get some extra snoozes
after they have all officially gotten up!

It has been a WONDERFUL holiday!
Thankful, Thankful, Thankful...
am I for the holidays I've just experienced.
I know our lives are about to be CRAZY
so these days have been really nice.
Troy, Walker, Hadlee and Baby Boy Love...

I love you more than words could ever express! I hope I can be a good wife and mother in the days to come! Thank you for being my everything(s)!!! I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!

NYE 2009

Our New Year's Eve was spent at our
favorite little restaurant and then
at home with my four favorite people...
(one just happened to be kicking
it in my tummy the whole night!)!!!
Wooooo nellie!
37 and 1/2 Weeks...
I don't know where we got the idea,
but we played all day and rocked all night!
Or until 11:00 pm when the ball dropped
in New York anyways!!!
My beautiful sister Michelle had us ready
for Baby Boy Love just in case he decided
to be a New Year's baby like her!!!
He will wear this onesie no matter when
he comes...I'm hoping with all my heart
that it will still be a happy new year!!!

Happy 2010 from our family to yours!!!

I Love My Kelli's

My kids get so excited for God Mommy's
gifts to arrive. It's so cute because
we don't get to see her anywhere CLOSE
to enough because of distance,
but my kids LOVE love LOVE
their God Mommy, Kelli!
(And I miss and love her with all
of my heart & soul...she is the
BRIGHTEST & most fun person I know!
Time nor distance means a thing to us.)
Hadlee & Baby Love's gifts arrived
on Christmas Eve, but Walker's was
late...didn't bother him because
he knew it would be worth the wait!
And boy was it ever...
Kelli G and I have had a wonderful
tradition of trading gifts since before
Walker & Kate were born.
Now, of course, the tradition is
even better because it involves the kids.
We've done this since they were babies...
My oh my, how they have grown!!!
Kate Kate is so fun to buy for because
she gets so excited...even over clothes I get her!She loved her Zhu Zhu pet...And I've known for a long time that she
wanted this polar bear Fur-Real...Check out her excitement...I LOVE IT!
I mean, really, could Kate Kate be any cuter?!?Oh Kelli G...why oh why...she just loves
to torment me by buying my kids
character clothes. Especially Walker
because she knows him all too well.
He finally can't get the CARS suit on
that she gave him when he was three. This guy gets pretty excited over
Kate Kate's gifts to him as well...You know Walker loves something when he
tears right into it...Kate's future sister-in-law also
received the cutest outfit EVER and even
a fun game...but she had just woken up
from her nap when we opened gifts so
she wasn't her jolly self.
Before we left for dinner, she was back
to her self and L-O-V-I-N-G her
time with Co Co & Kate Kate!!!They are all three so close and have such a good
time together. I love Kate as if she were my own!I can't believe I didn't take pics of all the things
Kelli gave me! OH MY! She always spoils me
rotten and I love what she picks out for me.
She is SO overly thoughtful and generous.
I don't know what I'd do without her...
she is the most supportive friend and the only
person I can talk to on the phone on a daily
basis (other than my mom) about this
and that and everything else!I am blessed blessed blessed with
dear, dear friends all over the world...
but especially my two favorite Kelli's!!!

What A Year!!!

I can't believe that 2009 has come and gone.
What a year!!!

I will forever remember this year for
a few main reasons...
First and foremost, we received the surprise
of a lifetime when we found out
we were expecting our third child.
It was shocking, I was terribly sick, and
at first, we didn't know what to think.
Now here we are approaching the
due date, and we couldn't be more
thankful or more happy!!!
Our little Love isn't even in our arms
yet and we now know that this was in God's
plan long before we knew it, and we have already been
BLESSED blessed BLESSED by it.

January 2010 is now upon us, and we are praying and wishing with all of our hearts for a healthy Baby Boy Love!

Secondly, Walker & Hadlee have blossomed
and shined in so many ways and they
make us so very proud. I know that times
won't always be this wonderful and that's why
I'm stopping to take time and give
God the glory.

Great things He hath done in our lives this year.

Lastly, we will also remember this
year as the one when we lost a very
dear, true friend. Louis will
forever be in our hearts and our minds.
LV was such a blessing to us...
especially to Troy. Our hearts
remain heavy as we miss him dearly.

Louis's death, just like his life, has taught Troy and me so much. I have never been more in love with my husband and I am enjoying life's moments more than ever before.

"From the fullness of HIS GRACE we have received one blessing after another." John 1:16

Happy New Year!!!

By the way, my pictures were enhanced as a total surprise by a blogger friend I didn't even know I had...Michelle Ramer-Beaty. Don't the pictures look amazing? If you'd like to get in touch with her, please let me know and I'll give you her e-mail. Thanks, Michelle, for the wonderful surprise! I will treasure these pictures always.
