The ALAMO!!!

Before we left San Antonio,
we had a special stop to make...
THE ALAMO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course we REMEMBER the ALAMO!;)
especially after Walker's big 4th grade
Alamo project this year!!!

 We took Walker there when he was
about two, but of course he doesn't remember that trip.
  He was so excited to see the real thing, and,
let me tell ya, this kid knows his Alamo history!

Others that I shall not name (Hadlee & Hudson)
were NOT so much into the Alamo though;)

UNTiL we got to the gift shop!

Of all the things for Walker to choose in the
gift shop, he chose a BaSEBALL with
the Alamo on it!  ha!  Maybe Davey Crocket
played baseball there?!?

 We had a nice visit to the Alamo that day:)

 Such a cool part of Texas history.
I'm so proud of Walker for his interest
and knowledge of the Alamo.

"ZIP"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As we were heading back to the car,
Hadlee saw a white horse!  My mother
plays this game with the kids in the car
that she played as a child.  Whoever sees
a REAL white horse calls out ZiP
and wins money;)  Unfortunately Grandmother
wasn't there to pay up for this ZiP!!!
