Purple Pirates Basketball

Walker was back to playing basketball

at the Family Center this season.

He missed the birthday cut off for his SWARM

team by a couple of days.  That was a bummer

since he loved playing ball with those

friends and we loved their families.

Luckily he has lots of friends playing

at the Family Center, too, so it was all good!

We didn't get on the same team as

Kullen but we still got to play him:)

They both did awesome at their first game!

Hudson is his #1 fan...so cute

Walker was #8 and the tallest guy on his

team composed of 3rd and 4th graders.

Walker made both of his free throws

the first time he was on the line!

The Purple Pirahnas had one loss in the

last second of a game and that was all.  Walker

was DEVASTATED over it and came

home and created some new plays;)

Spending our Saturday afternoons

at the Woodway Family Center...

The best was when Walker would score...

I love seeing him throw his hands

up and cheer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even Superman Travis came to one

of his games!  That was awesome!!!
Walker scored that night (just two points)...
after the game, he told me, "Did you
really think I wouldn't score with Travis there?"

Sometimes our little baller just

couldn't hang during the afternoon games;(

Walker did great...he always hustled, he made

 some awesome stuffs and some great shots!

He's the best at defense!

Such a big boy...so tall, long and lean, with

big feet, just growing up way too fast :(

Grandmother was at every game UNLESS
Baylor was playing!  ha!

And she paid him all season long for points!  ha!

This kid so wants to be like Bubba!!!

We had really nice coaches...

including a really cute one whose job

was to keep score at every game (T-dawg!)...
