Somebody finally took off on his very own!!!
Troy has been working with Walker on
riding his bike with no training wheels.
Walker is not one to want to STOP
and try to learn something that is going
to slow him down at first. He was
and try to learn something that is going
to slow him down at first. He was
quite speedy on his bike with training wheels,
so why have to slow down and learn a new way?!?
Therefore, it has taken my little man some
time to get the hang of this.
He's been doing it, but never without
Troy running beside him. Mommy couldn't
keep up with him nor did he trust mommy!!!
All of the sudden Friday evening,
while playing in the hood with his best bud,
while playing in the hood with his best bud,
HE GOT IT!!! Just like that!
Walker got on Luke's bike rather than his own,
Luke helped straighten him up and gave him
a push and Walker took off!!!
In Haddie's words as we watched,
"This is soooo cool!"
The Reeds (all five of them!) were just
as excited as we were!!!
It was such a great moment out in the hood!
Lukey Boy...what a true bud!
Thank you for helping Walker out!!!
Saturday morning the first thing Walker wanted
to do was ride his bike!!!
Now, it's like he's been riding without training
wheels all of his life. Going down hills, making
turns, and exhibiting no fears!!!
You go, Walker Boy!!!
We are so proud of you!
We are so proud of you!
