The other day Mamaw and PaPa Jimmy
invited the kids over to pick some
vegetables from their garden.
The kids LOVED this!
(I loved the delicious dinner we also had!).
PaPa Jimmy is so sweet & patient with
Walker & Hadlee.
He's a great father-in-law!
And the best cook to boot!!!
Striking a pose in the garden...
Thank you, Mamaw & PaPa Jimmy!
Now if I could just get these cute little farmers to eat their veggies!!!
AMEN! I was just about to ask.. do your kids EAT that? HAHA!
ReplyDeleteThey sure looked cute doing it though!
how cool! I know what you mean about eating veggies. I guess I would actually have to cook more for that to happen:-). Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love that your kids were able to experience something fun like picking vegetables with their grandpa?? It's such a simple thing, but a memory they will share with their grandpa forever - I love it!
ReplyDeleteThose are the cutest little farmers I have ever seen in those boots!! And how yummy for Mommy to enjoy home grown veggies!!
WOW, what a beautiful garden they have!! Love all the pictures. Your kids always look SO happy Mindy! Hope you are feeling well!
ReplyDeleteYum..I LOVE fresh, garden veggies. Our season is definitely later than yours. We are just starting to get a few little green tomatoes on the vine. That squash looked delicious! It's one of my favorites. :-)
ReplyDeleteWalker and Hadlee look so cute in their boots! Looks like they were making GREAT memories with their PaPa Jimmy!
I love Walker's boots! He looks like he knows what he is doing in there. A real farmer. Can't get over that garden. Wow. grandpa sure knows what he is doing. I could take some lessons. Little Missy and her little bucket was too cute.
ReplyDeleteKids DO love that! We planted what I call a CROP instead of a garden at my office for the kids (and adults!) to go and pick for PT. THat garden takes up what used to be our entire horse arena!! IT is good for balance and strengthening! We had some cucumbers cross pollinate and they look like squash. I am told they taste like watermelon. Whatever!? We planted a watermelon patch for the summer and will be planting our pumpkin soon! LOVE IT!
